05.12.2024 Polystyrene Concrete Plant. Abakan, Russia
At the beginning of 2024, the management of the Cement-Service company (Abakan, Republic of Khakassia) contacted us with a request to purchase a line for the production of polystyrene concrete blocks.
Previously, the company's director visited the existing production facility in the Republic of Kazakhstan, got acquainted with the equipment in operation and the quality of the products. Taking into account the climatic features of the region, a material such as polystyrene concrete with its unique thermal characteristics is the optimal solution for construction.
Our company's specialists have carried out work to study the raw material base of the region in order to use local raw materials in the production of polystyrene concrete. A project was developed to place a line with a capacity of 100 m3 per shift in the customer's premises.
A special feature of the production line is the ability to produce megablocks of large sizes, except for blocks of standard sizes, which ensures speed and ease of construction. In May 2024, the line was delivered to the customer, and in November, our company's specialists put it into operation, including technology development and staff training. It should be noted that the project was implemented with the support of the Government of the republic and, in particular, the Industrial Development Fund of Khakassia.
The Governor of the Republic of Khakassia attended the opening of the plant. According to him, thanks to the joint efforts of business and government, another production facility has appeared in Khakassia, which undoubtedly contributes to the development of industry and the economy of the republic, and the plant has every chance to become one of the leaders in its segment. For the Republic of Khakassia, this is the first plant for the production of polystyrene concrete building blocks, previously this product was imported to Khakassia from other regions. Now the republic is provided with its own product and in the future the plant will cover the needs of neighboring regions.
The Cement-Service company produces polystyrene concrete under its own trademark SEMELITE. In 2025, the company plans to master the production of ready-made polystyrene concrete house kits.
